| Hope Valley Ambulance is proud to announce that we have been recently approved by the Rhode Island Department of Health to start a Mobile Integrated Health program within our service area. Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) is a community-based program administered by EMS to deploy EMTs and Paramedics into the community to assess and treat patients in non-emergency, planned home visits. This program brings a new, innovative method of healthcare to our community.
After months of coordination and planning, our program will soon take on its first patients. We are currently only accepting referrals from select community health agencies as our program begins. We hope to expand the program soon with further funding, grants, and donations.
