| Hope Valley Ambulance and Hope Valley Fire were recently dispatched to respond to a potential commercial fire. Upon arrival, crews prepared Squad 300, Ambulance 311, and Ambulance 312 for possible EMS rehab operations at the fire scene. Fortunately, the situation was resolved without incident, and EMS units were returned to service.
Our team uses calls like these as an opportunity to practice establishing fireground EMS rehab, supporting our community’s firefighters and ensuring medical care is available on scene for preventative evaluation and treatment of any medical emergencies or injuries while they operate on extended emergency scenes, such as structure fires or complex/technical rescues. |
